Karl is a project manager, business consultant, and trainer who helps companies make their work processes more efficient, use data to make better decisions, and apply AI in everyday work to create real business value.
In his trainings, Karl focuses on practical solutions that help organizations reduce waste, improve how work is organized, and apply AI and automation. His main topics are:
- mapping processes and identifying bottlenecks
- analyzing work processes and finding opportunities for improvement
- using AI in management and production processes
- automating repetitive tasks
- data-driven management and performance measurement
- applying LEAN principles to organizational development
Over the past six years, Karl has advised both manufacturing and service companies on process development, LEAN methodology, problem analysis, digitalization, and management practices. In addition to advising companies, he has led both domestic and international development projects at Tartu Business Advisory Services and Tartu Science Park.
Karl's strength lies in connecting process management, data analysis, and technology into practical action plans. He actively uses Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and modern AI tools in his work, helping companies make better decisions and achieve greater efficiency.
His professionalism is confirmed by several recognitions. Karl was named Colleague of the Year by the network of Estonian County Development Centres in both 2024 and 2025. In 2022, an activity of the project he led — the Smart Manufacturing Meetup conference — received the "Deed of the Year" award. As a mentor to companies, he has taken part in the Digitalization Master Class and the Real-Time Economy Master Class for creative businesses, both run by Enterprise Estonia. Under his guidance, Mulieres took first place in the 2023 Digitalization Master Class and Sandla Puit second place in 2024.
Karl holds LEAN specialist and LEAN value chain manager certificates and continuously develops his skills in data analysis, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.
